THE GREAT WAVE OF KANAGAWA
Este post se lo dedico a eva, la gothic lolita de Noviciado y a su samurai particular.
The Great Wave off Kanagawa is a woodblock print created by the Japanese artist Hokusai. It is the first image in a series entitled “36 Views of Mount Fuji” (in this particular scene, Mt. Fuji is the snow-covered peak seen jutting out from behind the massive, finger-tipped waves.) In the century and a half since its creation in 1832, it has become one of the most iconic images in the world of fine art, and to many it has become the visual distillation of that vague, exotic idea of what it was to be “Japanese.”

The ritual project. Un colectivo de documentalistas siguiendo a un grupo de artistas del mural publicitario (hand painted ads). Interesante pieza la que descubro en Wooster Collective que muestra el verdadero Old School publicitario en la siempre grande NYC. Preciosos planos y mucho oficio, delante y detrás de la cámara, el que recoge la pieza. Respect!

Investigando un poco he descubierto que la empresa que trabaja estos muros en NYC le hizo 4 muros a Banksy con motivo de una exposición que tuvo en el Soho.Fuerte Ehhh! El banksy ya contrata para que le pinten los muros......

Recuerdo una entrada antigua, Radio Nova. Una radio via internet con mucho nivel y buena música. Hablan en francés, pero eso da igual porque lo que importa es descubrir la música que ponen.
Cada X tiempo sacan un recopilatorio y merece mucho la pena tener todos. Por si os interesa se llaman Nova Tunes 1.1, 1.2 y asi sucesivamente. Acaban de sacar el volumen 2.1 con Frad Freddy´Drop, Hindi Zahra, Wax o Bonobo entre otros.
